EyeSight & Privacy
EyeSight is designed to protect your privacy and let you choose what you share.
EyeSight reveals your eyes while wearing Apple?Vision?Pro, letting others know when you are using apps or fully immersed.
EyeSight is personalised to you using images and 3D measurements of your face. Apple?Vision?Pro captures these images and measurements when you set up hands and eyes, and when you enrol your Persona. This data will be refined and updated as you use Apple?Vision?Pro to improve your personalised EyeSight display. The data used to build EyeSight does not leave your device.
You can reset EyeSight by going to Settings > Awareness & Safety and tapping Delete Personalised EyeSight. This will remove personalised eye details from EyeSight, like your eye shape and measurements, but EyeSight will still use your skin tone where available. After you have reset EyeSight, you can restore it by recapturing your Persona.
At all times, information collected by Apple will be treated in accordance with Apple’s Privacy?Policy, which can be found at apple.com/uk/privacy
